Alexander Kacaniklic is a delicate winger and spent part of his formative years as a footballer on these shores, having made a stint in Liverpool youth training before moving to Fulham.

The Swede joined Liverpool as a youngster in 2007 after first moving to Helsingborgs IF in his homeland.
However, first-team opportunities with the Reds did not arise and he completed his youth studies with Fulham between 2010 and 2012, joining the Whites as part of the deal that saw Paul Konchesky travel to Anfield.
Making his senior debut in 2012, the winger made more than 80 league appearances and scored 10 league goals for the club over the next four years, while spending brief loan spells at Watford, Burnley and FC Copenhagen. .
He joined Nantes in 2016, then traveled to Hammarby in 2019, before joining his current club, Hadjuk Split, earlier in 2021.
He signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the club in February this year and has made more than 20 league appearances for the club so far, scoring a few league goals.
Having turned 30 in August, he still has a lot to offer in the game and will be looking to do just that with Split in the seasons to come.
