Oregon Prepares To Host Homecoming Parade And Football Game On October 8 | Community

Oregon High School students will have their first homecoming two years later this week after a year of COVID-19 upended the district’s normal fall plans in 2020.

This year reunion week runs from Monday October 4 through Saturday October 9, with dress-up days throughout the week and big events such as the parade, reunion football game on Friday October 8 and the reunion dance for high school students on Saturday 9 October.

The reunion parade will be held after the high school cheer rally from 1:30 pm to 3 pm on Friday, October 8, with the traditional route departing from Oregon High School, 456 N. Perry Pkwy. planned to return. The football match will start at 7 p.m. that evening.

The school will also organize the Homecoming Ball for high school students from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, October 9.
